Santa Margarita Ranch wedding

Peter and Jessica are the kind of couple that are so perfect for each together they even kind of look alike. They had their small Santa Margarita ranch wedding in March when everything turned green.  My absolute favorite part of their day was during their “first look” where they couldnt even see each other but Peter played a surprise song he wrote for Jessica.

The back of her lace dress flowed elegantly down to the floral rug in the old, wood paneled room. Jessica was preparing for her wedding day. The corners of her excited smile nervously perked up, knowing she as about to be so close to her soon-to-be husband without actually seeing him. She ducked out from the comfort of the bridal room to sit in a chair behind her love. He, armed with an acoustic guitar and his wedding day best, began to serenade his bride with a song; A song rooted deep in both melody and context that was created by him, only to be shared with her.
